Build and customise your wheelset
Our configurator gives you the possibility to define yourself the equipment and the decals of your wheels, at no extra cost.
It's very simple: change the decals, the cassette body and the tyres as you wish. With each change, the photo, the technical sheet, the weight and the price are automatically updated.

We have specifically designed our Prymahl wheelset to be in perfect harmony with cyclists' expectations. We have integrated our Dynamic Response concept. Stiffness is no longer the byword in frame and wheel design but responsiveness as the wheels must track the cyclist in their movement and efficiently transfer the power the cyclist is putting down through the pedals.
Our Prymahl Orion C35 R rims combine responsiveness, predictability, low rolling resistance and ease of use.
A counter mould, double moulding process is used, for the rim inner facing for a rim that is as perfect on the inside as it is on the outside leaving a clean surface with no residue, nor rim thickness variation for low rolling resistance nor lateral flex. If for us this invisible, to the cyclist, process is paramount on top end bike frame, it would seem to us, unavoidable on a rotating mass.
Reinforced rim braking tracks
Our Orion road rim braking wheelsets are moulded using a different process for disc braking rims to obtain the overcome the tyre / brake pad / overheating issue.
It was vital that responsive and reliable braking, even in wet conditions was our priority, the rim braking tracks have been 1.5 k and 3k reinforced using high temperature resin.
CNC-machined hubs
We have used flanges on our CNC-machined hubs for excellent value for money and performance. All our hubs are equipped with a cassette body with a minimum pick-up angle for optimal response.
As for the spokes, we have chosen stainless steel double-butted 2/1.5 spokes for R range of rims. Stainless steel is more responsive, comfortable, and predictable than stiff alloy spokes.
We also decided to use exclusively extreme precision bearings fitted (to the hubs) in environmentally controlled labs so as to reduce torque and friction-free performance.
Manually fitted by our technicians in our factory.
We are extremely attached to the principle of know-how. For fitting, we have discovered that the only way to obtain perfect quality is to manually fit our hubs in our own factory.
All our rim technicians receive a thorough in-house training and especially in the use of tension meters. Spoke lacing requires a special skill for top performance wheelsets that respond to our clients' expectations
