The quality and the paintwork

Accounting for the work and the energy required to develop and produce an Origine frame, it seems to us vital to fit it with the best available components on the market.

At Origine, we don't restrict ourselves to just using the components of well-known brands for example the most market-driven, such as derailleurs.

The bike's overall quality is dictated purely by the reliability and the performance of all the parts that make it.

This is why all our bikes are fitted with quality components, even the most unsung parts such as cables and cable housing / bottom brackets / headsets / chains etc. because we believe that it is the small details that count. Every Origine bike is entirely hand built in our production unit in France by our technicians.

Our technical team is, of course, well trained, but essentially, for us, passionate about bikes. Because we are convinced that only a cyclist would have the optimal attention to detail that we (and you) expect in the assembly of your bike.

We want you to benefit from the excellence we expect.

Whatever the intended use for your bike, the paintwork is tested every ride. It's also a key element in the final look of your bike. At Origine, for all the bikes in our range, we have made the conscious choice to offer you upmarket paintwork. Our framesets are entirely painted by hand in France, even the most complicated artwork designs.

According to the tints we apply two or three coats of paint and two coats of varnish for a really deep shine. Our dual-tone models are individually masked by hand to guarantee the perfect finished result.
The deco is applied befor the second coat of varnish to protect the deco and prevent it from deteriorating.

We have decided to exclusively use "automobile-industry" quality paints and varnish for improved resistance to paint scaling and greater durability from UV's and impacts.

We only use paints made in Europe that reply to French standards in terms of the environment and health.

Finally, the painting technique used on Origine frames is not harmful to the environment.

Despite our large choice of coulours, if none of them entirely convince you, for example you might be more a sequin pink or a satin black, just choose the option "Colors on demand" and you'll find that colour you've always dreamt of.
