The 10th road bike in the Origine range has a new signature, the Fraxion, why? Because it's more aerodynamic and fully integrated, the Fraxion benefits from the latest technology including revolutionary UML® internal moulding and a CCT+® rear triangle. Because an Origine bike would not be an Origine bike if it wasn't comfortable, we have given the Fraxion all our know-how to make it the long-distance rider's first choice for fatigue-free cycling.
UML stands for Unique Matrix Layup

UML stands for Unique Matrix Layup

The results of months of research led us to develop a new fibre moulding technique called UML, that stands for Unique Matrix Layup. The carbon sheets are assembled on the front triangle in one process around a single matrix. There are no junction points, no residues or unnecessary overlapping, just pure, defect-free carbon fibre.
This new version of our internal mould ensures that the fibres are compacted under pneumatic pressure evenly over the entire front triangle.
With this manufacturing process Origine has created a major innovation in the world of carbon moulding, we are redefining the contours of high modulus carbon.
The Fraxion is one of the few frames in the world to benefit from such a superior build.
XRD® technology

XRD® technology

We have developed XRD®, a new derailleur hanger mounting system directly linked to the rear wheel axle. The precision of the gear change is further improved. The rigidity of the wheel in the frame increases by 17%.
CCT+® technology

CCT+® technology

Like the Axxome, the Fraxion is known for its ability to combine performance and comfort. The new CCT+® rear triangle further enhances these qualities.

The chainstays and seatstays of the Fraxion frames are connected in a single continuous carbon tube, with no hard points between the seatpost and the chainstay (Continuous Carbon Tubing®).

The buzz caused by defects in the road surface is diffused along the entire length of the continuous tube (chainstays + seatstays) for improved absorption.

The paintwork is carried out in our workshops in the north of France using exclusively eco-friendly hydrosoluble automobile-industry quality paints.

Their resistance to impacts and abrasion is far superior to that of frames painted in Asia, and the impact on the environment is significantly less.

The Fraxion is available as a frameset only or as a complete bike, and like all Origine products, it comes with a lifetime warranty and is fully customisable using our proprietary online configurator to match the tastes and expectations of all passionate cyclists.

The Fraxion is fitted with integrated 1,5"/1,5", the SHIS is IS52/28.6; IS52/40 bearings. Designed for riders looking for precision and performance. High quality sealed bearings for smoothness and precision. requiring little effort when riding off from a stop. Bearings are fitted in a controlled environment.
The in-house designed seatpost features a low profile "Kamm tail" shape.
The seat clamp is integrated, and an elastomer cover protects against water and dust.
The Di2 battery is mounted in the seatpost, in spite of its profiled shape, following Shimano recommendations (there is a cylindrical aluminium insert glued inside).
The frame is compatible with FlatMount 160mm front and 140mm rear brake rotors and compatible with a 12x142 rear wheel and a 12x100 front wheel and tyre widths of 23, 25, 28 and 30mm
A full carbon BB86 (86.5 x 41) bottom bracket as standard

Shimano: Whole 24mm range (from Tiagra upwards), except triple chainrings
Rotor: Whole range (24mm + 30 mm)
Campagnolo: Whole UltraTorque and PowerTorque ranges
Sram: GXP only (22/24mm)
FSA: MegaExo 24mm only
