Technological benefits

Trail

Trail

Almost as light and comfortable as many carbon frames, the new Trail gravel bike will charm you with its performance and precision steering. What is the secret of this performance? A highly technical construction. The tubes are made from extruded 6061 aluminium for a very high quality, durable, yet light, alloy. The inside walls of the tubes are then machined to varying thickness (the Triple Butted technology).
Front fork gravel suspension

Front fork gravel suspension

The Rock Shox Rudy fork, specially designed for gravel riding, offers 40mm of travel. Preload is managed with an air cartridge (SoloAir™ technology). The damping is managed by the Charger Race Day cartridge with a lockout for rolling sections.
T4 & T6 heat treatments

T4 & T6 heat treatments

The welding is a work of art.
The finish is superb and ultra-resistant. The thin tubes and integrated cables give it a sober and classic look. Hand-polished welds.
Following welding, the entire frame is further strengthened with T4 & T6 heat treatments.
Carbon fork

Carbon fork

The full carbon fork is made from Toray® UD T800 high modulus fibre with 3K M40 reinforcement sheets in the fork crown. The Japanese company Toray® is the world's largest manufacturer of carbon fibre, and its fibre is used in many fields such as sports cars and aeronautics. It is exactly the same fork as found on its bigger brother the Graxx. The wide, aero profile makes the fork stiff both laterally and frontally for a precise and safe ride. The oriented layering of the unidirectional carbon fibres is designed to absorb vibration and cuts fatigue over long distances.
Hand-painted in our factory

Hand-painted in our factory

All Origine frames and forks are painted in our assembly plant in the north of France. We have specifically chosen to use automotive grade water-soluble paints only as the resistance to impacts and abrasion is far better than frames painted in Asia and the ecological impact is greatly reduced. Like all Origine frames and forks, it comes with a lifetime guarantee and can be fully customised using our configurator to suit the tastes and expectations of all passionate cyclists.
