Alloy fully suspended MTB
We chose alloy because the most important thing on a full suspension bike is the kinematics. You can have a front triangle with the best fibre on the market, th [See more]e most optimised carbon draping, but if the suspension doesn't follow, your bike is worthless.
We have opted for a combination of top of the range alloy with optimised kinematics for cyclists with a limited budget. This gives us better suspension than many carbon bikes, and this is where the performance of this type of bike comes into play.
Tubes are extruded and triple butted, before they are put through the T4T6 hardening process. After welding, the complete frame is further solidified by a new heat treatment for added solidity.
This material was a real challenge for our design team. In addition to all the work done to reconcile kinematics, geometry and dimensions, we had to be inventive to make the final result aesthetically pleasing, and to ensure that the level of finish met our specifications. The welds are a work of art.
