Where (and how) to maintain your Origine bike

Origine offers you a wide choice of maintenance and repair options for your bike.

With several options now available, you are free to choose the service that best suits you and your pocket, such as Origine-approved bike mechanics, some of whom will even come to your home, alternatively nothing to stop you using your usual LBS (Local Bike Shop); you can also drop your bike off at our factory and we'll repair it for you (following quote), or why not maintain and fettle your bike yourself using our Origine tutorials.

Warranty

- What are our warranty terms?

At Origine, we believe that an exceptional bike deserves an exceptional warranty.
Therefore, each model comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and a 2-year warranty on the components.

The warranty is managed directly in our factory by our teams. Your point of contact is an expert who will be able to give you an answer or an explanation, decide to send you a component or plan repairs or other work for your bike.

You have 14 days following the reception of your order to change your mind and withdraw.
Send us your request by e-mail or registered letter with signed receipt addressed to our head office, providing your contact details and invoice number.

Returned products must be new, complete and in their original packaging.
This guarantee does not apply to specially designed products, i.e., those not found on our website.
Please refer to our General Terms and Conditions of Sale for more details on the terms of this clause.

If having a bike that fits your image is important to many cyclists, it is also vital that the bike also fits you and that you are well positioned on it. Yet many people neglect this point and irrespective if a novice or a seasoned racer the position on the bike is the guarantee of your comfort and your performance.

When finalising the configuration of an Origine bike, there are several options when choosing the position on your bike.

1- You know what you want:
Choose the frame size, stem length, handlebar width, cockpit height, crank length, and a saddle of the appropriate width. We leave the choice to you.

2- Use our Size Calculator
With just a few, easily determined measurements, it defines the exact dimensions of each component for a bike that will fit you perfectly.

3- You need some help from our advisors
Validate your order by clicking on "Choose sizes later", one of our technical advisers will call you back within 48 hours.

4- You have a recent bike fit or wish to replicate the settings of your current bike
Select the option "Choose the sizes later" and send us the measurements by email; we will build your bike according to them.

Whatever your choice, one of our technical advisors will systematically call all customers to check measurements before we start production of your bike.

RIGHT SIZE GUARANTEE
All our bikes come with a 1-month CORRECT SIZE GUARANTEE.
If you are not completely satisfied with your position after your initial rides, we will, free of charge, change the bike’s component sizes within one month of delivery of your bike.

Women's bikes

At Origine, our policy has never been, and never will be, to produce scaled-down men's bikes for women.
Our guarantee to produce a bike that is perfectly adapted to your size applies equally to women as it does to men. In choosing from 6 different frame sizes, 8 different stem lengths, 3 different crank lengths, a choice of 2 saddle layback options, and more than 10 different stack heights, we can create the perfect combination that corresponds perfectly to your body shape.
And this is possible across the whole range. At Origine, women have just as many choices as men.

How do we ship your Origine bike to you?

Origine bikes are shipped fully assembled and adjusted, you just need to fit the front wheel, the bar (MTB only) and adjust the saddle height.

How to configure your bike

Fully configure your bike to your image and adapt it to your riding style, expectations, budget and body shape and size.

Firstly, start by choosing the model of bike that interests you and add the components that you want including everything from the make and model of drivetrain, the tyres, the frame colour and the saddle type.

With each component choice the visual, technical data sheet, bike weight and total price are automatically updated.
Let your personality and expectations speak for themselves, you can't go wrong as our configurator will not allow you to select components that are not compatible with each other.

I want a colour or decor that are not found in the configurator

Colour:
We believe that a bike that reflects you should do so completely and using our Colors On Demand® custom app you can find the colour scheme THAT YOU WANT.

When finalising your order, simply indicate in the "Comments" box a RAL colour chart number or the reference of any car manufacturer's colour scheme.

Good to know:
- We are not equipped to produce chrome or glitter tints, and unfortunately it is not technically possible to create a computer-generated of the bike with a custom colour scheme.

- The boundary between two colour areas cannot be changed as this requires time-consuming adjustments that cannot be made for a single bike.

Decor:
- For technical reasons, it is not possible to select other decors than those found on our configurator. It is not possible to customise the colour, change the position, add or remove them, or mix them with those of other models than the one initially selected.

Delivery time for a bike (in weeks) : 4/5
Delivery time for a frameset (in weeks) : 3

If you have chosen a component with a longer delivery time, you will be delivered within one or two weeks from that date.

These lead times are given as an indication only and only come into play once your order, including all the component size choices, has been confirmed and full payment made.
Lead times are subject to production issues and our own suppliers' lead times.
Unfortunately, our technical advisors are unable to reliably inform you of the status of your order prior to the indicated delivery date.

Use either a bank card or bank transfer to pay for your Origine bike.
If French resident you can also pay by cheque in up to 3 interest-free instalments.

Theoreme Hardtail

Discover the new Théorème hardtail, a concentrated powerhouse that highlights speed and performance. And as is always the case at Origine, these features are not at odds with comfort and accessibility - quite the contrary.

The technologies we have developed make our hardtail one of the lightest and best performing in the highly-competitive world of XC.

Dynamic Response

The Dynamic Response concept reflects Origine’s personality to obtain the very highest performance, while maintaining a certain level of comfort. The choice and lay up of carbon fibres have been designed to give priority to response over stiffness and to allow extremely rapid return after deformation.
Our engineers focused the bike’s build around the Dynamic Response concept. Rather than preventing the frame from deforming at various stress points (bottom bracket and the head tube when cornering) so as not to lose power transfer, the Théorème works more like a spring, an archer's bow for an extremely fast return following deformation.
As a result, it's more responsive, more predictable, even in series of fast, tight bends. It is also easier to steer and more comfortable on long rides, during those moments of tiredness or in winding, technical areas.

Intégration

Say goodbye to brake hoses banging against each other as you ride across a scree slope, say goodbye to a branch catching the bike and rider by the derailleur cable. Where some people might see this as an aesthetic advantage, we see integration as the solution to increase reliability and longevity of cables and hoses, all well protected inside the frame.

But we didn’t stop there. We took advantage of this new platform to integrate the saddle clamp. This has added more strength to the frame by reinforcing the top tube/seat tube junction, without adding any extra weight.

Blocage de direction

We have featured our in-house designed steering range stop. To improve rider and equipment safety, the bar’s rotation is limited to a maximum 72° angle either side. This prevents the bar, in the event of a crash, from over-rotating which could damage the frame and hoses, or possibly injure the rider from contact with the bar ends.

It also means that we can apply the same technologies that have proven so successful on the Théorème FS, such as a entirely straight down tube from the bottom bracket to the head tube for added stiffness and precise, responsive steering.

UDH hangar compatible

First seen on our Théorème FS, we have retained compatibility with UDH derailleur hangers on our Théorème hardtail. The main advantage of UDH hangers is the ease with which they can be replaced either at home or on the road. They are also compatible with direct-mount derailleurs without the need for an adaptor.So you have access to the best technologies on the market.

Drapages GTO et GTR

One frame, two different styles.
The GTO provides the perfect mix of comfort, buzz filtration and performance for an extremely versatile mountain bike, for use on club rides to marathon XC and ultra-distance. Whatever the discipline, the GTO carbon layup cuts fatigue and lets you keep pushing harder.

The GTR is uncompromising on performance. Light, responsive, everything you'd expect from a high-end racing bike. But it wouldn't be an Origine if we hadn't made every effort to keep a certain tolerance. Accessible to everyone, it will still push you to give it your all in every situation.

Peints à la main dans nos ateliers

Origine frames are painted in our workshops in northern France.
We only use automotive-grade water-soluble paints as their resistance to impact and abrasion is far superior to that of frames painted in Asia, and their ecological impact is far less.
Available as a frameset or as a complete bike.
As with every Origine frame is benefits from a lifetime warranty and using our Configurator you can custom build your Théorème to your taste, style of riding and budget.

Théorème GT - Shimano XT - Prymahl Polaris A25 Pro

30 ans de VTT derrière moi, retour sur un semi-rigide... Des décathlons, un Zesty, un fuel EX et maintenant un Théorème GT. Mon premier carbone monoplateau. Un vrai jouet, très réactif, vif, léger, grisant ! Fourche de 120mm, tige de selle télescopique, ça passe vraiment partout et ça va vite ! Évidement ça bute sur du terrain dur et défoncé. Le manque d'un amortisseur centrale se fait sentir. Mais à plus de 50 ans, j'ai (re) trouvé une machine à sensation.

Théorème GTR - Sram 12v lunar - Prymahl Polaris A30 R

Le vtt est très agréable dans les descentes. Très réactif dans les relances. Equipé en Sram XX1 pour la transmission et avec des freins SHIMANO XTR, le vtt a un bon équipement technique. La possibilité de choisir soi-même ses composants est vraiment un plus : vtt à la carte. Je conseille fortement Origine.

Bonjour, Après que mon cadre carbone Merida 26’´ ait rendu l’âme, me voici en possession d’un magnifique Théorème GT rouge flamme, full XT, roues DT 1700: aucun regret! Le 29’´ est une révélation et le vélo est à la fois très confortable et malgré tout joueur, plus que je ne l’imaginais. Je n’ai eu aucun problème avec le service d’Origine , que ce soit en amont de la commande où mes questions ont toutes trouvées réponses et par la suite avec un délai respecté et une livraison sans encombre.

Théorème GT - Shimano SLX - Roues Shimano XT

VTT très facile à piloter, maniable et très agréable. Confort relativement bon pour un semi-rigide, malgré le carbone. Très satisfait de mon choix ; dispo conforme aux prévisions. Très content de mes choix et aucun regret sur la couleur (Orange Shakir). Réception du VTT à l'usine directement ; réglage précis sur place. Vraiment top comme expérience je recommande.

Passé les 500 km et toujours très satisfait de mon théorème GT avec jantes Prymahl. J'ai quitté mon ancienne monture carbone 2x10 pour ce vtt. Pas déçu de l'accueil, du conseil et du suivi de Origine. Montage fourche Rock shox Sid 100mm, transmission shimano XT, pédalier slx et freins Shimano Slx.

J'ai acheté mon vtt en début d'année j'ai déjà fait 1000 km et 20 000 mètres de dénivelé exclusivement en chemin forestier et single, un vrai bonheur, j'ai eu vite fait d'oublier mon Specialized Epic carbon tout suspendu !!! vraiment une bête de course et également très confortable pour un semi rigide. Très heureux de mon achat je le recommande sans retenue merci à Origine !!!

Axxome II GTR - Théorème GT

Fier de mes « Origine » Un an après un Axxome GTR, je viens de faire l’acquisition d’un Théorème GT. C’est dire combien je suis satisfait. Et l’accueil à l’usine toujours très agréable et riche en conseils. Bravo à toute l’équipe.

Reçu à la mi-décembre, mon Théorème GT a parcouru un peu plus de 200 km. J'apprécie sa légèreté (9,8 kg), son agilité et son confort, la fourche Sid Select 120mm Remote est vraiment magique ! Je continue à le découvrir dans les côtes et sur le plat en forêt. Très roulant, il est aussi à l'aise sur les chemins qu'en ville. A chacun de l'équiper à son usage avec les bons pneux et les bons composants mécaniques. Personnellement j'aime bien aussi l'utiliser pour aller faire les courses en ville car il est très maniable

Après presque 25 ans avec un Vtt Merlin, je me suis décidé à acheter un nouveau vélo... C'est un théorème GT, monté XT et fourche Fox 32 Je n ai pas encore beaucoup roulé avec (j'attends le dégel), mais je ne suis pas déçu ! Les plus : le configurateur la communication la rapidité de la livraison (3 semaines) la qualité du cadre , du montage et du comportement du vélo . le confort Les moins : je cherche encore
